Tutorial – Linked Signatures

A lot of people are wearing linked signatures on forums these days. Do you want to know how it is done?

As requested by a couple of people at ZZS I made a little tutorial on how to make linked signatures.

1. Create your signature.
My image size is 370w x 200h. This is also the size requested at DST. The width probably doesn’t really matter.
Make sure there is enough space between the place for the links, since you will have to cut your image.

2. Add guides as cutting lines.
As you can see the guides will help me cut my image.
Cut as close as possible to the guides to avoid missing pixels.

3. Cut your image.
I want my image to have 4 links so I need to cut it 4 times. In the end I have 4 individual images. One for my blog, one for my shop etc.

4. Add your signatures.
Load your images to your something like Photobucket and add them to your User CP like you normally do.
Make sure you don’t have any spaces between the images.
Last but not least, add your links to the appropriate image.

You can cut your images into as many pieces as you like and add even more links.
